its a crazy 4C get-together...

monday 9 Jan06'--- met tuck & janet at Essential Brew (@ Holland Village) for dinner... then on to Wala wala pub for drinks n live band performances...

Ordered heogaarden beer.. 1-for-1.. then more beers to come.. weijin n wei loon came soon after..tequlia sunrise n stella A.. drink n drink... Loon bought a cigar the cheapest--- 6 bucks.. we took pics... the live band--- the unExpected wasw awesome.. totally.. Tuck n I had our delicated songs sang by them.. Yipee..... he's was this love by Maroon 5 n mine was my fav--WakE me up when September ends... Green Day rawksssssssssss...

Then to drinking games--- 5 10.. 7 up.. haha.. boy that was fun...had another jug of margaritas

Went to the nwearby EskiBar at ard 1plus a.m.. It was such a happening pub... it was minus 16*C in its room... boy.. we slipped inside. took pics inside..

had some new creation cocktails by loon's fred Issac... called lycee paradise in 1 shot. n artic ice?? quite nice but expensive too... haha... by then i was quite sai already.. i cant really drink one so u could guess... haha.../

Next is 85 for supper.... it started to pour like damn it was pouring.. .. when we reached... had minched meat mee no kway tiao.. mee sold out... then cab home... tuck saw me up cos i was bout to k.o then... slept at 4plus a.m...

A woman---- her story

she was born into a rich family of the 50's in Singapore. Fate has in for her not a life in the lap of luxury or wealth, but a humble n poor one. u see.. she was the 7th consecutive daughter of the Poh family. Much as her birth parents wanted to keep her by their side, her authorative grandma insisted on sending her away, having been fed up with no grandSONS after 7 years.

She was given away to a friend couple who has no children of their own yet.. She grew up in the kampong as a kind and very hardworking girl. Alas.. fate smashed her yet again when she was round 1 year old.. her foster father died. People damned her as a curse to her foster dad.. But her foster mum was not affected and still treats her like her very own daughter. She had her own son by then..

So, this girl grew up, stopped school in primary 6 to work as a maid in a foreigner's family @ 13... went home only once a month... being bullied by the young mistress who was bout the same age or less. she went on to work in a fabric factory @ 18.. while doing her diploma in tailoring and fashion fabrics.. got married at age 28..

she had 3 kids.. 2 gers 1 boy.. worked as a seamstress at home in the 80's till early 90's.. then changed to becoming a waitress in chinese restraunts.. till now.. very experienced one too.

This woman has no amibitions nor dreams that'd shake the world.. nor anything special or succeussful about her, by materialistic standards.. her only wish is for her family n kids to grow up.. study hard.. get a good job.. be healthy n happy.. that's all she asked..

Im grateful to life that i get to know this woman.. in fact for the past 22 years, we've been really close.. she was there for me, taking care of me when i was recovering from my stroke. fed me, clothed me, showered me, taught me how to live.. I am nothing without this woman. This woman cant read or understand english so there's no way she can read this entry. I can never repay her enough. This woman.. her story.. I called her Madam Poh.. i called her.. Mum.. mi ma.. or ma mi.. thank you for everything.. i meant really.. everything...

Great story on courage, love, sarifice, human spirit.. I really love this film esp, when Aerosmith's "I don't wanna miss a thing" plays in the backgroud.. its the type of movie that makes ur hair stands and appreciate love around you. That'ds how i feel.. never fail to touch me everytime i watched Bruce Willis n pals battle for Earth....love.... and for family....friends...

This is another movie which inspires, motivates, and affirms the notion of what i always believe in--- a person's destiny and hope, with the power of choice in life.. always..

So you're different? So what if you're different? whoever said that we must all be the Same.. Whoever said we must all grow up to be doing the same things? chasing the ever running bucks, cars, etc.. Wanna be a rocker? go ahead... rock on!!A watercolor artist? do it... follow Johnny Depp as Edward.. Be a scissorhand if that is what you want in your life. Be different..and also comforatble with who u are.. love yourself... all just like Edward..S.H..

What would you do for your loved ones? what would you do just to be near them, to care for them, to love them,,, to 've them by your side?? Which is why a father posing as Mrs Doubtfire, a nanny... touches my very own heart...R.Williams.. he is like just up there as far as hollywood's actors are concerned to me. J. Depp seems a likely actor to reach his status, to me...

2 Jan 06'(Monday)---home sweet home..

slept till noon... got up.. did really useful stuffs... 1) ate brunch.. 2)watched this awesome local movie production, << jui wei luo>> twlight kitchen..starring moses lim, dang meo ling, n zhang wen xiang.. cant find dang's pics..

touching story line bout ah hoa an ex-convict who cooks well but was only used as a washer n maid by ming shu(moses)'s son n his wife. min shu was cheated by his son to hand over the restraunt business to him n his wife.. had to force his own daughter, dang to learn his culinary skills i order to take over n cont' his legacy of good food..

its a story about love, humility, integrity, filial piety, brother-hood. there was no 3 Ss on the movie. u koe the kinda 3 Ss that sells big time on tv now--- SEX, SPORTS n SCREEN..its just pure simple story, no violence, no blood, no sex...just love i guess...

3)then i went to pack my sling bag to be ready for school when the new semester, 2005/2006 sems 2 starts on the 9th Jan monday.

Sis returns in the evening from Bangkok. went for holidays with her boyfriernd n poly freds.. bought thai tibits n 2 T-shirts for me... pretty cool..one Eceko n one von dutch.. haha.. exactly the same except mine's in green..

4)went to watch soccer match with derrick n chee keong @ tampines interchange's Mac... 8.45pm.. West Ham United vs Chelsea... chelsea won 3-1.... Frank Lampard score chelsea's 1st goal... A. Robben was the man of the match.. he was Great.. i thought Harewood's from WHU played well too... scored West ham's only goal @ the start of the 2nd half..was a big phsical threat..

there were some pretty cute gers there as ck n me 've observed while "watching soccer" haha...

okie.. that's all for these for exciting n fun-fiilled 4 days.. full-packed... haha..

As we bid farewell n as we close the 2005 chapter in our life, let us do take some time to reflect n ponder over 05' experiences, be it good or bad, to savour the good n learn from ther bad.., look ahead to the road of 2006'... it'd be a better year as always...

1st Jan 06'(Sunday)---- FEBC party at the expo-Max pavilion

went to eat breakfast at TM's Mac.. then home to unpack.. with mum's help-- thanks..mi ma.. wat i call my mum.. not mami but mima..

meeting donavan, zhiqin, Isabelle, n Arul(whu wasnt feeling too well to go later, so he didnt go) to go to don's church FEBC's new year party n service at 6-10plus pm. It was so small a world that we met Max frm Ak too... he n zhi qing n don are all from FCBC.

it was very cultural like Akltg's ra ra n stuffs....very happening to me as i was from a presbyterian church--tabernacle presbyterian church. i was beos i've been thinking or rather honestly, avoiding the spritual issue.. Donavan, thks bro, for bringling up those issues i rather not talk bout.. i guess im really afraid n confused.. but its kinda strange how god works(whoever god might be). I always believbed that there is a superior being call GOD above.. but who is he? where, how, why, are all the qwuestions.... but im afraid like i say beos i koe im afraid to receive the answers esp, when the answers r those i might 've already know.. u koe wat im saying..? u do? good cos i don';t quite myself..

here's The Adventure of Donavan, Javier & Isabelle..

we went for supper @ Al-aseem at bukit timah after seeing zhiqing back to his boarding school--hwa chong.. end up we ate @ al-alkar further up... nasi goreng i ate suxs... mee goreng not up to Al-aseem acc to isabelle... only don's mutton seems BIG.. ok here's the real adventure.

sussposed to go hm like beos its 1a.m plus.. but hell no.. went to draw $$ @ the opp bukit timah shopping centre.. then isabelle suggested go play pool.. ok no prob.. went to the first.. closed... nvm.. walked a long way.. past beaty world.. fenced up to dead end-- cross over aklong a narrow muddy path... its still ok..

NExt,, walked past a path dark with frogs... n water wet puddles now to our finale--- a real-life swingl;ing LOG... lest its not swingling but much higher... its not wood but concrete.. think its easy to cross... think again.. its 4 storeys high. no support for us...its

round this height lest its sloping... it was a real challenge at least for me.. so im very proud we 3 focused on our outcome n reached the end...

played pool.. my first time really.. don taught me how to play pool ... i cant really use my left hand to fixate the cue with my fingers.. so i changed my strategy to use my knuckes instead..

it works.. so i reckoned... i love playing pool.. went hm in cab.. sent don hm first... reached hm.. bout 4a.m... nv shower.. slet till 12noon... that's 2nd dec 06'.. so see above...

31st DEC 05'(Sat)---- chalet, daniel's birthday chalet... AK pple...

reach downtown east chalet F 1611 bout 230a.m .. a grp dry-swimming n donating to chuan lay's breakfast fund... another talking outside.. one cute cute boy playing XBox--Donavan alone.. Aww...went to shower... come out play Xbox... show chronicles or wat?? super cool fighting game..like cansadra, spawn, rahpheal, n more.... till late.. listened to nollele's creative mp till morning whilst i sleep...

All woke up .. go eat breakfast @ the food court. ate prata kopi... then its time for>>>>>

WILD WILD WET..

daniel, Arul, n me supposed to be hunters, catching the rest whu r rabbits... its a game.. but end up, we 3 went Re-lag one corner(ROC) first with the guys at the tsunami pool.. then went catch all in like erm.. ya.. OnE go.. hahaq..then i also went Roc again with them at the lazy pool... then free all to go play slides.. the waterworks.. then i went missing... Angel, Shuyti n jeff found me.. only for all of us to go on the terrifying SAMSUNG SLIDE UP-- i was the last in our Q.. with jeff... then Down.. Whoosp... we went..now we're talking wet..next up we went to tsunami.. spend lots of time there.. fun man...

then to the raft-ULAR-LAH.. sat with whu ah?.. ah.. the prevented arul from peru.. whu squeezed all the guys' butt @ the tsunami, don, lilian, me n a couple.... that was cool....

then i went to eat with lilian n qiuxin... wings pizzahut n calamari.. vcofee.. just as it started to pour heavily.. by this time.. my scorpion tattoo-temp with green gitters is half gone...n my left toe is peeling to reveal its blood.. haiya..

now tell me wat's that about.. Shuyi or isit Angel??, Arul n Me..

its BBQ.. not b4 some arcade though.. basketball, para para dance, daytona , shoot shoot.. Ally arrived.. yeah....BBQ time... ate n ate ndid i mention ate..

Aww.. its such a torture to take pic with me that u had to roll ur eyeballs yea Don, is it NOT???

then was bitching or bastarding ard with angel n shuyi on the bed.. oh wth? it sounds terribly wrong... haha.. no la.. was just chatting bout life n such...

its totally chaotic but fun.. i mean like really FuN... we were bombing one another like its countdown time.. no wait. IT IS COUNTDOWN TIME... YIPEEE YEAHHH.... here's one for you...

now that's how we looked like after the water bomb WAR.. wet.. no drenched chickies n duckies..

oh ya.. Dejun aks john cena was there with his freds too... went to 've a little food n splash too.. then cake time.. or isit b4 the bombs. yes it is... sang songs.. toa po daniel.. with furby, chuan laqy, me, arul, zhiqin, don.. or shd i say all the guys on him.. chuan lay sway sway kena slapped nt daniel... when it was dunno whu who threw the cake @ him... Furby.. thks for rubbling ur choco laden face on my white shirt...we all had fun.. poor noelle.. he was like a mum going sard to feed us the delicious choco cake.. i mean like it was really yummy...

As the night wears... with pple still bbqing food for us-- thks, showering, playing games, mahjong-ing.., we koe its neasr to leave.. me, angel, jeff, zhiqin n wei hua were singing chinese hits outside the toilert as we waited for ur turns to shower.. whoa.. angel n jeff rewally can sing very well..

3.30a.m.. by order of our safety officer, kenneth, all are to go out n eat the food Jeff n Noelle.. Jeff's looked like he was forced to EaT

... we did.. then we cont' with wat we were doing.. then round 4 plus.. most were sleeping.. lest isabelle n 3 others playing mahjong.. woke up @ 9.30pm to pack up n GO...
